Texas Wildflower artist signs with UK art agency
Known for her bold, colorful paintings inspired by the wildflowers of her native Texas, Linda Calvert Jacobson is now being represented by Art House Licensing, Ltd. of Brighton, England.

Art House Licensing is a new and exciting art licensing agent and image library. Representing over 50 contemporary artists and heritage collections, properties include Glasgow Museums, the House of Travilla, Paul Thurlby and Rosanna Rossi.
Jacobson is no stranger to art and floral lovers in the UK region. For four years her wildflowers were featured on a line of limited-edition, artist-inspired watches sold exclusively on shopping channels in the UK and in Germany. Her paintings have also been featured on a line of greeting cards sold in the UK, Australia and New Zealand.
Born and raised in South Texas, Jacobson paints her vibrant wildflowers from her studio in the Texas Hill Country. While the paintings are inspired by flowers of her native Texas, the contemporary, somewhat abstract look appeals to art and nature lovers around the world. Her original paintings are in collections in the U.S. and abroad.
